Once fully commissioned, the high-capacity facility will possess the operational capacity to process approximately 30 lakh (3 million) liters of raw fluid milk every single day. The core of the facility is its specialized cultured dairy wing, which is engineered to produce 1,000 metric tonnes (10 lakh kilograms) of curd, traditional mishti doi (sweet curd), yogurt, lassi, and buttermilk daily. This immense throughput allows Amul to leverage regional consumer preferences for cultured dairy products while cementing its status as the leading fresh milk brand in the Bengal market.

Beyond its primary curd infrastructure, the integrated complex will manufacture a wide array of value-added dairy commodities. The project’s daily processing blueprint includes lines for 10 lakh liters of standard packaged retail milk, 2 lakh liters of Ultra-High Temperature (UHT) long-life milk, and 1 lakh liters of ice cream. Additionally, the state-of-the-art plant will feature automated processing lines turning out 20 metric tonnes of paneer, 10 metric tonnes of ghee, 10 metric tonnes of traditional milk sweets, and 2.5 lakh consumer packs of flavored milk daily.

The administrative rollout aligns directly with the central government’s newly launched White Revolution 2.0 initiative, which aims to rapidly digitize and expand the domestic cooperative framework. Alongside the factory launch, Shah introduced the e-RCS digital portal to computerize the Registrar of Cooperative Societies and handed out registration certificates to more than 200 newly formed rural dairy cooperatives. The localized procurement network is expected to provide stable market access, transparent automated payouts, and enhanced livelihood opportunities for over 1.25 lakh regional cattle rearers, including more than 30,000 women milk producers.
