Detailing the federation’s processing and packaging safeguards, Mani explained that all ghee sent to the temple site was packaged in fully sealed 15 kg metal tins across Milma’s regional processing facilities. He emphasized that the tamper-proof sealed packaging rendered any in-transit alteration impossible. Furthermore, Mani noted that the consignments were officially received and inspected by Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) officials at the Sabarimala storage godown, after which handling, storage, and application fell entirely outside Milma’s operational control.

Addressing the controversy, the chairman revealed that Milma has received no official complaints or formal written communication from the Travancore Devaswom Board regarding product quality. He confirmed that the TDB had settled all financial accounts and paid Milma in full for the delivered consignments. Commenting on reports of potential product substitution, Mani stated that if genuine Milma ghee was replaced with substandard alternatives after delivery, it would constitute a severe offense requiring immediate investigation and prosecution under civil and criminal law.

Citing recent operational updates, Mani clarified that the Devaswom Board currently receives sufficient daily ghee donations directly from pilgrims, eliminating the immediate need for external commercial procurement. He emphasized that Milma’s procurement, processing, and distribution networks remain fully transparent, assuring the public that consumer trust and the commercial reputation of Kerala’s dairy farming community remain paramount.
