“National Dairy Development Board Should Offer Guidance and Support for Milk Production”: CM Dr. Yadav
Agreement signed with NDDB for dairy development in Madhya Pradesh

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav highlighted that the western region of Madhya Pradesh excels in milk production, whereas the densely forested eastern region lags behind. Despite the tribal communities in the eastern districts being involved in animal husbandry and milk production for years, they are still struggling to make significant progress. This issue warrants both concern and investigation.

Dr. Yadav emphasized that the National Dairy Development Board should play a crucial role in providing guidance and support to enhance milk production, improve livestock, and expand fodder areas, thereby elevating the economic status of local communities through dairy farming. During a review meeting at Mantralaya, Dr. Yadav assessed the current state of milk production, collection, and the activities of Sanchi Dugdha Sangh.

The meeting included discussions on strategies to boost milk production and collection. Present were Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Shri Lakhan Patel, Chief Secretary Smt.
