
Team Yogi’s roadshow in French Capital Paris evoked tremendous response with investors not only expressing their desire to strengthen business ties with Uttar Pradesh but are also showing keen interest in investing in various sectors in the state, including defence, agriculture, dairy, food processing, IT, renewable energy and water transport.
A delegation led by Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and IT Minister Yogendra Upadhyay met representatives of the big industrial houses of France in Paris on Monday and invited them to invest in UP and attend the Global Investors Summit to be held from February 10 to 12, next year, officials here said.
The tour is part of the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s efforts to make the state a $1 trillion economy in the next five years by bringing foreign investment to the tune of Rs 10 lakh crore through the GIS 2023 to the state of Uttar Pradesh.
