Kunnamangalam: Malabar Milma has announced Rs 15 crore for additional milk procured and fodder subsidies for dairy farmers, as approved in a recent meeting of the Malabar Region Union Governing Council. This initiative is expected to benefit 1 lakh dairy farmers in the Malabar region.
Additionally, the Malabar Regional Union will provide an additional Rs 1 per litre to farmers for milk produced in April, May, October, November, and December of 2024.
