Hatsun Agro Product Limited (HAP) has successfully completed the acquisition of a significant stake in Milk Mantra Dairy Private Limited.
As of March 3, 2025, HAP acquired an additional 1,953 equity shares, each valued at Rs 10, from the shareholders of Milk Mantra Dairy. The gross purchase consideration for this transaction was Rs 0.03 crores. With this latest acquisition, HAP now holds 31,61,556 equity shares and 16,06,372 compulsorily convertible preference shares, both priced at Rs 10 each, amounting to a cumulative purchase consideration of Rs 232.80 crore.
This acquisition represents a 99.84 per cent stake in the issued and paid-up equity and preference share capital of Milk Mantra Dairy Private Limited. The acquisition is part of HAP’s strategic expansion in the dairy sector, aiming to consolidate its market position and enhance its product offerings. The integration of Milk Mantra Dairy is expected to provide synergies in operations and expand HAP’s footprint in the dairy industry.
