President-Elect Joe Biden’s choice for US Secretary of Agriculture, Tom Vilsack, will face limited to no opposition when the Senate eventually votes on him. Vilsack won unanimous approval the last time he led USDA under former President Barack Obama. Vilsack was Iowa’s governor from 1999-2007.
