As Brazil’s Coronavirus Aid Dries Up, Dairy Demand Tumbles
After hitting record highs in 2020, dairy product prices in Brazil have tumbled. Government aid last year helped prop up dairy product prices, but that aid has now been discontinued, which is forcing retailers and wholesalers to heavily discount prices to move product as more Brazilians slip back into poverty.
