Purabi Dairy to operate Assam’s Dhemji dairy

Purabi Dairy has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Directorate of Dairy Development (DoDD), enabling West Assam Milk Producers’ Co-operative Union Ltd (WAMUL) to manage and operate the DoDD’s dairy plant located in Dhemaji, Assam.

This plant has a capacity of 5,000 litres per day. Under the Purabi Dairy brand, WAMUL aims to enhance milk production and distribution in the region, ensuring better access to quality dairy products for the local population.

Operations at this facility are set to commence shortly, marking a significant step in the development of the dairy sector in Assam.
