Net loss of Parag Milk Foods reported to Rs 9.64 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against net profit of Rs 10.11 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020. Sales declined 18.85% to Rs 434.35 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 535.23 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020.

For the full year,net profit declined 77.90% to Rs 20.71 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 93.69 crore during the previous year ended March 2020. Sales declined 24.45% to Rs 1841.76 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 2437.92 crore during the previous year ended March 2020.

Alka Upadhyaya, Secretary of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying (DAHD), stated that the milk supply in India remains stable, with the Wholesale Price Index (WPI) and Consumer Price Index (CPI) inflation rates for milk recorded at 2.09 per cent and 2.85 per cent, respectively, in November 2024.
