MP aims to more than double milk production CM Yadav

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Monday emphasised that the state’s resolve to more than double milk production will be the foundation for the prosperity of cattle rearers.

Yadav made these remarks while reviewing the progress of work undertaken after an agreement was signed between the National Dairy Development Board and the Madhya Pradesh State Cooperative Milk Federation.

The Chief Minister directed senior officials to ensure that the expertise of the National Dairy Development Board in the dairy sector benefits the entire state.

He highlighted the need to simplify the process of importing high-quality cattle breeds from other states to increase milk production in the state.

Yadav reiterated the government’s commitment to increasing Madhya Pradesh’s share in the country’s milk production from 9% to 20%. He expressed confidence that this goal can be achieved by promoting cattle rearing.
