Officials have seized Karimnagar Dairy’s milk chilling centre located in Agraharam of Vemulawada rural mandal on Thursday.
The 10,000 liters capacity chilling center, which has been operated since the last 22 years, was seized on the ground that the center has no permission from TS-iPASS.
Municipal and Revenue officials seized it by leaving 20,000 liter milk tanks inside the center. About 25,000 dairy farmers are supplying milk to the center.
Employees found fault with officials for closing the center without giving prior notice. Few days ago, the compound wall of the center was also demolished by the municipal officials.
