Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tarkishor Prasad said on Saturday that the main product under integrated dairy farming can be sold and the byproduct can be used as input for other system.

Prasad suggested to the farmers on Saturday to adopt integrated dairy farming to increase their income and said that this system was useful in bringing about sustainable growth. He also asked the farmers to provide nutritional based good quality fodder to the cattle and informed that with the financial help of the Union Government and National Dairy Development Board seed processing unit of 10 metric ton daily capacity and a godown with the storage capacity of 450 metric ton has been constructed in Barauni to boost availability of fodder seeds in the state. He also asked the cattle owners to properly utilise the cow dung to manufacture organic fertilizer and other such products which would also help boost there income. UNI RS ACL2311
