Chennai-based dairy leader posts double-digit revenue growth as milk, yoghurt and ice cream fuel Q3 FY26 financial momentum.
Hatsun Agro Product Ltd (HAP), one of India’s prominent private-sector dairy companies, delivered a robust quarterly performance for Q3 FY26 with consolidated results showing significant year-on-year gains. For the three months ended December 31, 2025, net profit after tax jumped nearly 48–49 % compared to the same quarter last year, reflecting strong operational execution and sales growth within its core dairy portfolio.
Revenue from operations also climbed around 17.6–17.62 % YoY to about ₹2,363–2,364 crore, underscoring healthy top-line expansion amid evolving consumer demand in India’s dairy market. This broad uptick in income was supported by continued strength in categories such as milk, yoghurt and ice cream, which form the backbone of Hatsun’s retail and distribution strategy.
Management attributed the quarter’s gains to steady consumer demand, strong distribution reach and capacity additions, as well as sustained investment in sales, brand building and supply-chain efficiencies. According to its filings and chairman R.G. Chandramogan’s commentary, these strategic priorities helped maintain product freshness and quality from farmer engagement through last-mile delivery.
Operational context reveals some sequential moderation: while year-on-year performance was strong, net profit on a quarter-on-quarter basis declined due to elevated costs and seasonal factors, with total expenses increasing. Despite this near-term headwind, the company’s focus on value-led innovation and expanding reach across priority markets remained clear.
Hatsun Agro’s brand portfolio — including Arun Icecreams, Arokya Milk, ibaco, Santosa and Milky Moo — continued to gain traction across its distribution network, which spans thousands of exclusive outlets across Indian states. The results highlight the company’s ability to leverage its farmer network and product diversification to capture demand across liquid milk and value-added dairy segments.
