Of the 15 members of the Goa Dairy board, only 12 are elected and the remaining are government nominees.
Raju Magdum, a special auditor of the Cooperative Societies has been appointed as election officer. He said that he has received 19 nominations.
The union has 173 members and the nominations will be accepted till May 30. Each village level milk collection society is a members of the union and only the chairmen of these committees are union representatives.
