MP Dairy Federation to sign collaboration agreement with National Dairy Development Board on Feb 25

The signing of a collaboration agreement between the MP State Co-operative Dairy Federation Limited, associated milk unions, and the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) has been put on hold, despite being scheduled for Feb 25 in Bhopal in the presence of Union home and cooperation minister Amit Shah and CM Mohan Yadav.

Govt sources indicated that the agreement is now expected to be signed later this month. While no official reason was given for the delay, officials suggested that the Global Investors Summit (GIS), which concluded on Feb 25, may have overshadowed the event.

The state cabinet had already approved the agreement, which is set for an initial five-year period with the possibility of extension through mutual consent. The govt expects it to significantly boost the income of milk producers across the state.

The agreement would be for five years with the possibility of extension through mutual consent. The govt pointed out that it would result in a substantial increase in the income of milk producers across the state.
