
Bank of India, one of the leading nationalized banks, is helping farmers through financing schemes at the three-day Agri Expo in Ludhiana.
It is one of the sponsors of the Mega International Conference and Exhibition for Farmer Welfare which includes at least 25000 farmers and 3000 traditional and advanced agricultural products. It was inaugurated by Punjab Agriculture Minister Gurmeet Singh Khuddiyan in Ludhiana.
Anil Verma General Manager, National Banking Group, Chandigarh along with Zonal Manager Shri BK Singh and Zonal Manager Navneetha Krishnan, financing through various schemes for Hi Tech Machinery Combine, Harvester, Cold Storage, Warehouse, Food and Agro Processing By highlighting the role of the bank in helping the farmers.
Verma also highlighted the bank’s contribution from basic Kisan Credit Card financing to advanced food and agro processing units as well as various dairy and animal husbandry financing.
