Ananda Dairy targets ₹10,000 cr by 2030 with wider distribution, new products and strong village procurement to fuel India dairy sector growth.
Ananda Dairy’s Big Growth Plan to Hit 10K Cr

Indian processor expands portfolio, footprint and farmer support to power next phase of dairy sector growth.

Ananda Dairy, a major Indian dairy processor founded in 1989 in Siyana, Uttar Pradesh, is charting an ambitious expansion strategy aimed at broadening its product range and geographic reach with a target of achieving approximately ₹10,000 crore in annual turnover by 2030. The company’s growth blueprint reflects a broader shift in the Indian dairy sector toward diversified offerings and deeper market penetration.

At the core of Ananda’s model remains its village-based milk procurement network, an asset that has helped the company scale its operations from its home base into farther markets. More than 300,000 farmers contribute milk through over 6,000 village collection centres, routed to 35 chilling centres and five processing plants with a combined capacity of roughly 1.8 million litres per day. Daily procurement consistently exceeds 1 million litres, underlining the strength of the grassroots supply chain.

Distribution now spans 100+ cities across 15 Indian states via a network of over 5,000 distributors and placement in about 150,000 kirana (local retail) stores as well as modern retail outlets, illustrating how Ananda has moved well beyond its western Uttar Pradesh origins. The company continues to invest in wider access, ensuring its products reach a diverse consumer base.

In terms of product innovation, Ananda has expanded beyond core items such as liquid milk, dahi (yogurt), paneer, sweets and ghee to include UHT milk, flavoured milks, milkshakes, A2 milk, butter and spreads. It has also ventured into complementary non-dairy categories like frozen peas, soya chaap, idli-dosa batter, tofu and sweet corn, reflecting a strategy to meet everyday consumption needs across price segments.

Alongside commercial growth, Ananda is strengthening farmer engagement and rural development through initiatives such as farmer training, village-based facilitators and veterinary camps reaching thousands of cattle. These programmes aim to enhance milk quality and supply chain resilience as the company scales its portfolio and distribution infrastructure over the coming years.
