Chaudhary’s decade-long tenure has been marked by explosive financial growth, positioning Banas Dairy as a true economic powerhouse in the sector. The co-op’s annual turnover has impressively soared past the ₹20,000 crore (approximately $2.4 billion USD) mark. Crucially, this revenue translates directly into significant farmer welfare, with the cooperative depositing around ₹35 crore daily directly into the accounts of its large base of cattle rearers, illustrating a powerful model of shared economic success.

Innovation and digitalization have been core pillars of this growth strategy. Under the Chairman’s direction, Banas Dairy has adopted extensive digital systems to streamline operations and enhance efficiency across its supply chain. Furthermore, the co-op has successfully diversified into new markets, launching a “sweet revolution” via the substantial production of honey, with output reaching 350 tonnes. This strategic value addition showcases the co-op’s ability to innovate beyond traditional milk processing.

The foundation of Banas Dairy’s success lies in its massive scale and grassroots cooperative structure. With 3.76 lakh member farmers spanning eight states, the organization, originally founded by the late Galabhai Nanjibhai Patel, is a critical engine for rural empowerment, particularly for thousands of rural women. Chaudhary expressed his gratitude to the members, stressing that it is their cooperation that has driven the institution to new heights, setting a future goal to elevate Banas Dairy to a truly global level entity.
